Terrence Lee Roop
Terrence Lee Roop,
18, of Marietta Rt 1, died at 12:25 a.m. Sunday (Mar. 14, 1971). Roop,
son of Donald E. and Juanita Kornmiller Roop, had been employed at the
Huff garage at Reno and was a drummer for the Blue River Boys.
Born at Lancaster Aug. 23, 1952, he was a member of St.
Luke's Lutheran Church here. He was a life member of International
Supreme Council, Order of DeMolay, and a member of Musicians Protective
Local 179, American Federation of Musicians.
Roop attended Logan Junior High and was a 1970 graduate of
Marietta High School.
Surviving besides his parents are a sister, Vicki, at home;
and grandparents, Mrs. Goldie Roop, Rock Bridge, and Mr. and Mrs. Homer
Kornmiller, Logan Rt 2.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow at Harold Hadley
and Son Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Welch officiating. Then at 3 p.m.
there will be services at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Logan, with the
Rev. George Smith officiating.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home
where DeMolay services will be conducted at 7 p.m..
