John Kent Hushion Jr.
   Reedsport, OR - John Kent Hushion Jr., 32, of Reedsport died at 2:30am Tuesday at his home, a victim of a house fire.
   He was born Oct. 28, 1951, at Parkersburg, WV, to John K. and Joan Smoot Hushion of Marietta. His father is the proprietor of Hyde Brothers Printers. He had lived in Oregon the past three years where he was employed as an insulator.
   He was a Navy veteran, having served in Vietnam, and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church at Marietta.
   Survivors include his parents of Marietta; two brothers, Michael, stationed with the U.S. Airforce at Frankfort, West Germany, and Thomas, stationed with the U.S. Navy at Norfolk, VA; and his grandmothers, Mrs. M. W. Hushion and Mrs. F. C. Smoot, both of Parkersburg, WV.
   Funeral arrangements are incomplete at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home.
   The family requests that memorial donations may be made to either the American Red Cross or to the First Presbyterian Church.
