No
I later graduated from Cal Berkeley and returned to native Texas to pursue aviation career that I sort of inherited from my dad.
I am a 737 Capt. based in Houston with Continental Airlines for 20 years, but I live in the Dallas area and commute to work each week from DFW airport.
My life is on the road, but it's amazing how cell phones and the Internet have changed the isolation that used to come with the travel territory. But I still live from a suitcase.
I went to Mac all 6 years of our class and even have memories of the school under initial construction.
I was rather rebellious in high school years, and never sat at the "popular" table, but had a solid group of friends, some from other classes, that I am still in touch with.
I have visisted inside MHS in recent years as my mom still lives right down the street in our original house in Irving. I will just say (toned down) that MHS is not the place we remember, though it looks the same on the outside.
Paul's Latest Interactions
I remember this face. I have Howards on my moms side so we are probably very distant cousins.
Walter was one of the smartest and most well spoken people in our class. In the school. He could have been a rocket scientist or president of the US. He was also a good and kind person. I can't imagine that he wouldn't live to be 95. Fate can be so generous and so cruel.
I remember Gary Willis, I believe he was in my 6th grade class at TJ Lee Elementary in Irving.
I recall he was shy but quick to smile. Never caused any trouble or drew any attention to himself. From what I read here, he must have been a fine man, and I regret I didn't know him as an adult. My sympathies to his family, 66 is TOO YOUNG for such a good guy.
