My Bio:
   I am employed by Procter and Gamble Pharmaceuticals in Cincinnati, Ohio as a Senior Scientist/Group Manager for the Statistical Computing Group in the Biometrics and Statistical Sciences Department. We work with partners and independently to develop statistical software used by P&G Pharmaceuticals and other P&G business units.
   My spouse, Karolyn A. Schalk, is a polymath and senior manager of software development at Convergys Corporation in Cincinnati. She has authored a book about card games and is a talented cook. We have one child, Meredith, who is a student at Walnut Hills High School in Cincinnati.
   We enjoy reading, music, vacations at the beach, and hiking. We are also active in supporting various civic and social causes on local, regional, and national bases.
